adidas Originals lists the Campus ADV in Collegiate Purple, Core Black, and Silver Metallic for 28 August 2026 under style KK0247, a skate rebuild of the 1980s court shoe.
The date on the ticket is today, 28 August 2026. The shoe is an adidas Originals Campus ADV in Collegiate Purple, Core Black, and Silver Metallic, style KK0247. Japan-market notes file the same pair as the Narus Campus in purple, black, and silver. That is the brief. A live adidas.com product page for this exact SKU was not sitting in search results at publish time. The silhouette under it is not a mystery.
Campus ADV is the skate department’s rewrite of the Campus, the low suede court shoe that left basketball in the early 1980s and never really came back. adidas Skateboarding put the ADV plate on it in 2018: same serrated 3-Stripes outline, thicker abrasion zones, a cupsole with exposed Bounce foam, Geoflex herringbone, a Geofit tongue that is supposed to stay put when the board turns. US retail on current ADV colorways is $100. That number is the working price until KK0247 posts its own.
stir
The original Campus was a school-tinctures basketball shoe. Suede, gum or crepe, three stripes. Hip-hop took it in the 1980s. Skate took the shape later and asked the factory for a toe that survives an ollie. ADV is that request made permanent.
Published ADV spec sheets, not the unposted KK0247 card, keep repeating the same hardware. Regular fit, lace closure, suede upper with a doubled ollie patch on the lateral toe. Cold-pressed eyestays. Geofit padded collar and a no-slip tongue. Molded EVA sockliner. Bounce midsole for the first hit. Geoflex rubber outsole with a herringbone that is closer to a skate cupsole than to a Campus 00s fashion unit. Imported. The lifestyle Campus 00s that floods the main Originals grid is a different last: bulkier tongue, Y2K proportion, $90 in several purple listings, not the ADV board build.

adidas Campus ADV in Black and Purple
adidas Skateboarding still treats ADV as a shop shoe. Classics Collection drops put Campus ADV next to Gazelle ADV and Superstar ADV. Rider colorways (Shin Sanbongi leather, Maxallure black) sit in that lane. KK0247 reads as a core color run, not a named collab. Collegiate Purple is a house pigment adidas already uses on Campus 00s, Superstar ADV laces, Firebird jackets, and Japan leather. Putting it on the skate Campus is a palette move, not a new last.
flow
The named stack is three parts. Collegiate Purple on the suede body. Core Black on the parts that usually go dark on an ADV: overlays, heel tab, maybe the foxing or lace set. Silver Metallic on the small metal, the foil, or the stripe edge, the same family of shine adidas already puts on grey ADV pairs as Gold Metallic. Until a photo set is public, that is all a tint string can be: a map, not a studio shot.
Campus 00s already sold Collegiate Purple with cloud white and gum, and a women’s JH7284 with core white and gum. Those are not this shoe. Mixing them in a cart caption is how SKUs get confused in October. ADV keeps a lower, tighter collar and a skate outsole. 00s keeps the puffed tongue. KK0247 belongs in the first pile.
Silver on a purple suede Campus will do most of its work in two places people actually see: the lace dubrae or heel stamp, and any foil Trefoil. Black keeps the purple from going costume. That is the whole style argument. No need to invent a college-team story. adidas uses “Collegiate” as a color name, not as a licensed university pack. The EVO SL EXO school pack that landed this week is a different model and a different brief.
extend
Current Campus ADV pages on adidas.com sit at $100 for Core Black and Grey Two colorways, marked true to size. German listings run €100. Older ADV launch copy from 2018 had the shoe at $80. Inflation and skate-line pricing moved it. Treat $100 / €100 as the expected ticket for KK0247 unless the regional card says otherwise. Japan pricing was not on a public Originals page at check.
Channels for ADV are the usual split: adidas.com, the Confirmed app when a color is gated, and skate shops that still buy the line. Originals flagship floors will carry it if the color is treated as lifestyle. There is no published lottery note attached to KK0247. There is also no confirmed stockist list beyond the brief’s 28 August date.
Gaps, stated cleanly. No official lookbook frame for this colorway in the 28 August crawl. No size-run chart unique to KK0247. No confirmation that Silver Metallic hits the stripes, the midsole, or only the hardware. No statement from adidas Originals or Skateboarding naming the drop in the last 48 hours of posts indexed here. The date and the color string come from the assignment and from Japan-market style notes. The construction comes from every ADV page adidas already printed.
What the pair is, if the card matches the line: a purple suede Campus cut for skate, black in the durable zones, silver on the small metal, $100 logic, low profile, 3-Stripes still serrated. What it is not: a Campus 00s restock, a university exclusive, or a documented collab. When adidas publishes KK0247, the only new facts worth adding are a photo of the heel and a regional price.
