METHOD / V1.0
Useful evidence, clearly bounded.
DRIFT Signal presently measures publishing activity inside the DRIFT archive. Editors choose the monitored subjects; the page counts matching published stories across rolling 14-, 30- and 90-day windows.
“Accelerating” means the current 14-day period contains more coverage than the preceding 14 days. “Active” means at least two matching stories appeared within 30 days. These labels describe DRIFT editorial momentum only.
Future versions may incorporate aggregate Search Console and reader-interest evidence only after the methodology, privacy boundaries and minimum data thresholds are established.
