ERASE YOUR SOCIAL. Album c. deadAir. Self-produced. SoundCloud in January. DSPs with the LP in September. Slushy in the sample bed.
Lucy Bedroque put ERASE YOUR SOCIAL on SoundCloud 26 January 2026, self-produced, then parked it on the debut album c, out 18 September 2026 via deadAir. Runtime about 2:30. Spotify lists it as a cut on that LP. WhoSampled files a lift from FKA twigs’ Slushy. Rolling Loud 2026 already had the song in the set.
The title is the plot. Log off. The record still needs the internet to travel. That tension is the whole two and a half minutes.
Signal. What happened: Bedroque released ERASE YOUR SOCIAL, then put it on c. Exact track: self-produced, ~2:30, Slushy sample. When and where: SoundCloud 26 Jan, DSPs 18 Sept. Source: Spotify / Genius listicle. Why it matters: the log-off song is the one that stayed in the live set.
stir
Catchy is the wrong first word. The cheaper truth is the vocal sits where late-night rap lean a listener toward expect shh, then fills it with a sung line that repeats like a notification you cannot swipe. Bedroque produces himself. The beat stays bright and dense enough that “jerk / plugg / pop-rap” tags all fit and none of them finish the job. Slushy in the bed is texture, not a karaoke reveal.
The lyric file talks come-up, a 2010 buzz image, skin, family absence, then the practical sentence: turning IG off because the app was doing damage. Boast and bruise in the same pocket. That is the Lucy register people already know from How to Pretend and 2010 Justin Bieber. This cut is shorter. It does not wait for a second verse to become a speech.
Headphones get the stacked voice. A phone speaker gets the hook. Rolling Loud got the proof that the SoundCloud file survived a festival PA.
show
c is the official container. January was the leak-adjacent first life. September is the catalog life. Putting a winter SoundCloud song near the end of a debut LP is how you keep a file from dying when the next snippet lands. deadAir as imprint is the paper. Bedroque as producer is the room.
fin
An original cover floating around the SoundCloud era used unofficial Hatsune Miku fan art. That jpeg is not the album campaign. Do not treat piapro (promotion + production) nostalgia as the official sleeve.
