Lov’Nee’s “Anonymat,” Her Top Spotify Track, Gets an Official Video

Four months after its May 15 release, the single from French Caribbean rapper and singer Lov’Nee and producer Jyz has an official video directed by William Thomas.

Lov’Nee put out “Anonymat” on May 15, 2026, through Jyz Music, a label that shares its name with her producer, Jyz. Jyz supplied the beat and is credited with the mix and master, per the track’s audio upload. The single runs 2:24. It arrived two weeks after “Shatta Rédhibitoire,” which Qobuz dates to May 1, and Amazon Music dates the follow-up, “Oubliéw,” to June 14. That Amazon Music page also credits Lov’Nee & DJ Jyz jointly on at least six tracks, including “Gouté’w” and “Como Te Llama,” both dated 2025, so the partnership predates this run of singles.

In late May she took the song to Skyrock‘s La Nocturne, the station’s Friday-night rap show, which runs from midnight to 2 a.m. under host Fred Musa, who has hosted the station’s Planète Rap since 1996. A performance clip of “Anonymat” went up on YouTube on May 30, and “Shatta Rédhibitoire” got its own session the same day.

On Spotify, “Anonymat” heads the popular-tracks list on her artist page, ahead of “Shatta Rédhibitoire.” Her Instagram posts announcing the single carry both #shatta and #kompa.

Volga-Plage, a working-class district of Fort-de-France, is where Billboard France‘s April 2025 survey traces the roots of shatta, the French Caribbean offshoot of Jamaican dancehall, and it describes the sound as heavy on bass, light on melody and built on carnival-style percussion. Kalash and Maureen’s “Laptop” became the first shatta title certified in France when SNEP awarded it a platinum single in September 2024, a certification tied to 30 million stream equivalents. The same report quoted an industry executive on the prominent place of women in the scene and noted that the genre opens a route to commercial success for songs sung in Creole.

Lov’Nee began as a rapper. In a 2019 interview with Madame Rap, the then 24-year-old described her Guadeloupean father and Martinican mother, learning guitar at 12 and hearing French rap differently after discovering Diam’s, and she named Kassav’ singer Jocelyne Béroard as another model. Her plans then included more work on visuals and production. By late September 2024, Reggae.fr reported, she was playing a sound-system set at the Karnaval (with Love) festival at Paris’s Wanderlust, and her first EP, LUNAR, had been out since July.
