DRIFT

In a vibrant connect of fashion, football, and food, Daily Paper has teamed up with Just Eat Takeaway.com to launch a limited-edition, 90s-inspired football collection. This flow unveiled just in time for the UEFA Champions League Final, pays homage to the bold aesthetics of 90s football culture while integrating contemporary culinary elements.

Retro Jerseys with a Modern Twist

The collection features three distinct football jerseys, each echoing the dynamic designs of the 90s. Crafted under the creative direction of Daily Paper’s co-founder and Head of Design, Abderrahmane Trabsini, the jerseys showcase Just Eat Takeaway.com’s signature orange, alongside black-gold and pale blue variations. Design elements include a bespoke patch on the front and a reimagined pattern of Just Eat Takeaway.com’s iconic knife and fork emblem across the shirt, symbolizing the intersection of football and food culture.

Jewelry Inspired by Culinary Favorites

Complementing the apparel, Amsterdam-based jeweler GASSAN introduces a playful line of diamond-encrusted charms. These pieces draw inspiration from the bold jewelry worn by 90s football icons, reimagined to represent fans’ favorite takeaway choices, including sushi, burgers, and pizza. The charms blend nostalgia with modern culinary culture, offering a unique accessory for fans and fashion enthusiasts alike.

Football Legends Front the Campaign

Adding authenticity and flair to the campaign, football legends Edgar Davids and Fara Williams MBE model the collection. Their involvement bridges the gap between past and present, celebrating the enduring influence of 90s football culture on today’s fashion landscape.

Availability and Exclusive Offers

The collection is available for purchase on Cultkits.com, with the jerseys priced at £59.99. Fans attending the UEFA Champions League Final in Munich have the opportunity to acquire the collection at the Countdown Club located at Reichenbachstraße 22, where various giveaways will be hosted before the final.

Flow

This connection between Daily Paper and Just Eat Takeaway.com encapsulates the spirit of 90s football culture, reinterpreted through a modern lens that celebrates both style and culinary delights. By merging bold design with nostalgic elements, the collection offers a unique tribute to the era’s influence on contemporary fashion and lifestyle.
