DRIFT

Story mfg., the British fashion label renowned for its commitment to sustainability and artisanal craftsmanship, has partnered with ASICS to introduce two distinctive iterations of the GEL-Venture 6 sneaker. This collaboration seamlessly blends Story mfg.‘s eco-conscious design philosophy with ASICS’ technical expertise, resulting in footwear that is both aesthetically pleasing and functionally robust.

Design and Aesthetic

The collaboration features two unique colorways of the GEL-Venture 6, each adorned with gingham patterns that evoke a nostalgic, cottagecore aesthetic. The first pair showcases a white base complemented by violet gingham accents and soft cream details, while the second pair adopts earthy brown hues with matching plaid patterns. These designs incorporate breathable mesh and synthetic materials, ensuring comfort and durability. Gingham-wrapped laces and midsoles further enhance the handcrafted feel of the sneakers.

Release Details

The Story mfg. x ASICS GEL-Venture 6 collection is scheduled for a global release on April 18, 2025, available through Story mfg.’s online store. Prior to this, an exclusive preview event will be held in London on April 11 and 12, offering attendees early access to the sneakers. This event also features a community quilt-tent project, reflecting Story mfg.’s emphasis on community engagement and collaborative artistry.
