Hoka dates the Ora Primo tincture Tidal Wave to 1 October 2026. Style 1141570-TWVB. Same chassis as the existing Primo: insulated puff upper, soft knit collar, round elastic lace system, zig-zag stitch, protective toe bumper, outsole with 30 percent recycled rubber. Official copy calls it vegan. Heel-to-toe drop 6 mm. Lifestyle and recovery, not a run.

Ora is Hoka’s recovery family. Primo is the closed, puffy, futurist version: slip-on comfort with a bumper so the foam last can leave the house. Tidal Wave is a color name on that object.

Primo is not the open Ora slide. It is a closed mule-adjacent slip-on with fake-lace elastic and a quilt, high-volume midsole. Hoka sells post-run relief and seasonless indoor-to-errand use. The page also warns against treating it as a running shoe. Foam and puff are for walking home, not intervals.
Knit collar is the fit problem and the comfort claim. It hugs. Shops tell people with high insteps to size up. Elastic laces are decoration that also keeps the puff from gaping. Toe bumper is how a recovery last survives a curb. Recycled rubber in the outsole is the grip sentence for wet pavement and a dog walk, not a trail race.
6 mm drop is low for Hoka’s trainer family and normal for a recovery slip-on that wants the foot close to the foam. Neutral cushion language on some regional pages sits next to J-Frame mentions on others. Believe the recovery brief first. This is not a stability trainer.
