A Bathing Ape opened a made-to-order window for iPhone 18 cases from 19 September 2026, 11:00 to 30 September 2026, 11:59. Four designs in the Japan notice. They cover iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, not a single last across both names.

Confirm which SKUs exist for which chassis on bape.com and BAPE STORE pages before treating the four names as interchangeable. A Pro Max Shark at ¥17,600 is not the same object as an ¥8,800 camo slab.

A BAPE phone case is not a technical bumper first. It is a small panel of house pattern that happens to wrap a phone. The 18 generation is Apple’s new chassis. Cases exist because the chassis changed. BAPE exists in this window because the chassis is a new rectangle to print.

The Shark case is the expensive object. ¥17,600 buys a detachable magnetic pouch and a reveal. WGM and Tiger are BAPE sentences older than any iPhone. Hiding them under a pouch is the only new mechanic in the set. Cards in a mini case is function. The reveal is merchandising. If the magnet fails, you have a loose pouch and a printed back. If it holds, you have a two-layer toy.

Glow-in-the-dark solid camo on a college-named Pro Max case is the night version of a pattern BAPE has already put on almost every surface. Glow is a finish, not a new camo. It will look loud in a dark bar and quiet in daylight. College in the name usually means a varsity frame or lettering around the camo. Confirm the graphic on the live tile.

City camo and color camo are the two cheaper Pro Max and Pro slabs at ¥8,800. City camo has been a BAPE family for years: urban fragment print rather than woodland. Color camo is the loud sibling. Putting them on different chassis in the printed list (Pro Max versus Pro) may be a listing accident or a real SKU split. Read the product page. Ordering the wrong last for an 18 Pro Max is a dead rectangle.

None of the four names in the short list include a standard 18 non-Pro. If you do not have a Pro or Pro Max, this window is not your window.

19 Sept 11:00 to 30 Sept 11:59 is not a Saturday drop. It is eleven days of order-taking. Made-to-order in BAPE accessor lang usually means you wait after the window closes. Production follows the order book. That is how phone cases avoid a warehouse of last year’s chassis.

The window opened the same morning as other 19 Sept BAPE activity in the season file (Moon Collection tees in a parallel notice). Do not merge the cases into the moon graphic story unless the case tile says so. These four names are shark and camo, not rockets.

Closing at 11:59 on the 30th is a hard cut. After that the 18 last will still exist. This particular print run may not. Pre-order is how BAPE has handled phone generations before: catch the new Apple SKU, print house patterns, ship late. Expect a gap between order and door. Do not treat 30 Sept as an in-hand date.

BAPE’s 2026 autumn already used paisley as an art chapter and moon graphics as a mid-autumn chapter. Camo on a phone is not a chapter. It is inventory logic. A new iPhone is a new flat. Camo is what the house puts on flats.

A case will scratch. Glow pigment will fade. A magnetic pouch will collect lint. The object is still a phone case. The ape head on a rectangle does not change how glass breaks. People buying Shark for the reveal are buying a party trick. People buying color camo are buying a print they already own on a tee.

iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max camera control and button layout are Apple’s problem. A fashion case that blocks a new control is a bad case. Check cutouts on the official image before paying ¥17,600 to hide a button.
