DRIFT

Nike continues to expand its Air Pegasus Wave lineup with the introduction of the “Dark Raisin” colorway, following the recent release of the “Light Lemon Twist” edition. The Air Pegasus Wave is a modern reinterpretation of the classic Air Pegasus 2K5, blending early 2000s aesthetics with contemporary design elements.

Design and Colorway

The “Dark Raisin” iteration features a rich purple hue dominating the mesh and textile upper, complemented by synthetic overlays that add depth and texture. A semi-translucent TPU midfoot cage provides both support and a futuristic touch, while the rope lacing system ensures a secure fit. Subtle branding elements, including a metallic silver Swoosh, enhance the sneaker’s sleek appearance. The design is completed with a plush midsole housing full-length Nike Air cushioning, offering supreme comfort underfoot.

Release Information

The Nike Air Pegasus Wave “Dark Raisin” is scheduled for release on November 19, 2024, at select Nike Sportswear retailers and online platforms, including Nike.com. The sneaker will be available in men’s sizing, priced at $160 USD.

Previous Release: “Light Lemon Twist”

Prior to the “Dark Raisin” release, Nike introduced the Air Pegasus Wave in a vibrant “Light Lemon Twist” colorway. This edition showcases an eye-catching yellow base with black accents, reflecting the energetic vibe of the early 2000s rave scene. The “Light Lemon Twist” colorway was released on November 8, 2024, and is available at select retailers and Nike.com.

Where to Purchase

Both colorways of the Nike Air Pegasus Wave can be purchased through Nike’s official website and select retailers. For the “Dark Raisin” colorway, availability is expected to commence on November 19, 2024. The “Light Lemon Twist” edition is currently available for purchase.

Nike’s Air Pegasus Wave continues to captivate sneaker enthusiasts with its blend of retro-inspired design and modern technology. The “Dark Raisin” and “Light Lemon Twist” colorways offer distinct aesthetic options, catering to diverse style preferences. With their scheduled releases, these sneakers are poised to become sought-after additions to the collections of both athletes and fashion-forward individuals.
