Nike and Jordan Brand have not published an official product page for a new Air Jordan 6 Sport Blue. The pair on the calendar is a return of the 1991 colourway: white leather, black tongue and heel tab, Sport Blue on midsole, outsole, lace locks, and marks. Overseas timing is fall 2027 at Nike dealers. Listed price $215. Style code not issued.

Tinker Hatfield designed the 6 for 1991. Michael Jordan had the first title run in mind. The last pulled from a Porsche Jordan owned: rear-spoiler heel tab, rubber tongue, view heel Air, punched leather. Five first colours. Black Infrared, White Infrared, Carmine, Maroon all used red in different temperatures. Sport Blue was the odd one. White upper. Blue as the accent. It left the court and stayed on the street because it did not look like the infrared family.

1991 retail sat far under $215. August 30, 2014 was the only full retro. White smooth leather. Black tongue and heel. Sport Blue on midsole and Jumpman. Icy blue outsole on that run. Jumpman on the heel, not Nike Air. That is the pair still on resale as 384664-107.

The 2027 pair puts clean white leather back, black on tongue and punched heel tab, Sport Blue on midsole and Jumpman marks. Three hue. Same blocking as the first shoe. The change that collectors argue about is the heel badge.
