Wrangler×Ameri CURVE DENIM PANTS at ¥26,400 tax in. Each in blue, black, and pink. Ameri’s season word is Drive. The release writes it as a woman moving on her own will toward a view she has not seen. Wrangler, born 1947 as a designer jeans house for cowboys, is the western brand they picked to carry that sentence. First collaboration between the two names. Traditional Wrangler hardware kept. Ameri silhouette put on top. That is the whole brief. No third garment in the PDF. No boot. No belt.

Naoko Kuroishi is B STONE’s representative director and Ameri’s director. The house line since 2014 is NO RULES FOR FASHION. The shop is AMERI VINTAGE, opened that same year as a web store that mixed original, vintage, and import. Minami-Aoyama office, POLA Aoyama Building 8F. This drop is not a full western wardrobe. It is a jacket and a pant that can sit next to whatever else autumn already put on the rack.

Signal. What happened: Ameri announced a first Wrangler collab for 29 September. Exact product: Blanket Stitch Denim Jacket ¥30,800 tax in, Curve Denim Pants ¥26,400 tax in, three colors each. When and where: 29 Sept 2026, amerivintage.co.jp and five AMERI VINTAGE stores. Source: B STONE PR TIMES, 8 September 2026. Why it matters: a Tokyo women’s line using Wrangler’s 7ICONS as stitch and pocket, not as costume cowboy. Earlier DRIFT: none on this pair.

flow

The jacket starts from a Wrangler archive shape, the kind of trucker the house has rebuilt for decades. Flap pockets with a silent double W, round rings, zipper: the hardware the cowboy brand will not drop because those marks are the 7ICONS checklist. Ameri adds heavy blanket stitch at collar, pockets, and hem. Vintage roughness on purpose, thick thread you can see from a sidewalk. Slash pockets replace the older set so the front reads cleaner, more tailoring than barn. Stitch color and body color are original to the collab, not pulled from a 1960s card. Blue, black, pink. Pink is the tell that this is not a reproduction 11MJ for a man who already owns two.

The pants keep the 7ICONS language in a different place. Silent W. Rodeo ben watch pocket. Original rivets. Cowboy details that survived because they worked on a horse and then on a street. Silhouette is gently wide and curved. Ameri calls that mode. Same three colors. No skinny revival. No rigid bootcut. A rounder leg that will show the watch pocket when she walks.

Two SKUs times three dyes is six hanging units if every color lands. That is a small capsule. Small is how first collabs stay wearable. ¥30,800 and ¥26,400 tax in is mid-shop pricing, not a novelty keychain and not an embroidered souvenir at eighty thousand. Leave with both under ¥60,000 if sizes hold. That number is the difference between a lookbook object and a Tuesday purchase.

Wrangler’s 7ICONS are the brand’s own list of heritage marks: the W, the pocket set, the rivet logic, the hardware a cowboy could find in the dark. Putting them on a curved women’s pant is the edit. The stitch on the jacket is the other edit. Blanket stitch is a craft signal borrowed from bedding and work coats. Combined with slash pockets it is craft that got a tailor.

Blue will read as the safe denim. Black will read as the night denim. Pink will read as the lookbook denim. If past Ameri color splits are a guide, pink moves first on the pant and blue moves first on the jacket. Black is the size-run insurance, the color that still exists on Friday.

Nothing in the rel adds a shirt. If a customer wants a western shirt she already owns one from last year or she wears a knit. The collab refuses to complete the costume. That refusal is the product as much as the stitch.

run

Drive, in Ameri’s Japanese, is self-propelled motion toward an unseen view. Western wear already owns the road as myth: highway, truck, dust, the person who leaves. Wrangler’s cowboy origin is the shortest way to put that myth on denim without inventing a new slogan. The release says the spirits overlapped. Overlap is PR. The clothes are still two denims with named pockets.

Ameri has spent 2026 stacking firsts. Hunter rain boots and loafers and bags in May. Dickies workwear earlier in spring. Hello Kitty. New Manual. Mizuno ice-touch inners. Zoff frames with Kuroishi’s name on the arm. Wrangler is the autumn western chapter in that stack. The method is consistent. Take a work or heritage name. Cut it to Ameri’s block. Sell it in the vintage shop and on the site. Do not build a theme park.

NO RULES FOR FASHION is printed on the About and on the YouTube. Rules still exist: five doors, a Tuesday, tax-in prices, three colors, two silhouettes. The rule that is actually being bent is Wrangler’s men’s default. Curve and pink do that job without a manifesto paragraph.

1947 is Wrangler’s birth year as a designer jeans label, the line the release repeats: first designer jeans brand, cowboy workwear that left the barn and kept the hardware. Ameri, 2014, is a Tokyo women’s house that treats vintage as a store format and original as a cut. The collision the brief named is those two calendars on one jacket. Seventy-nine years of W meeting twelve years of no rules.

Drive only works if the denim can leave the lookbook and get in a car. Blanket stitch at the hem will show when the jacket is open in a seatbelt. The curve in the pant will show on a station platform. That is the test the copy cannot take for the garment. The 29th will.

Kuroishi’s other 2026 name-drops (Zoff, Hunter) already proved the shop will follow her into a collab that is not denim. Wrangler is the one that looks most like inventory she already sells. That is why two pieces is enough. A third piece would have been a costume.

Official web plus Daikanyama, Shinjuku, Nagoya, Shinsaibashi, Osaka. That is the AMERI VINTAGE map named in the release. Five doors and a URL. Wrangler Japan’s Instagram is listed as the other handle. No Wrangler-only door is named for this drop. If a Wrangler shop gets stock later, that will be a second notice. Until then the line forms where Ameri already rings receipts.

Tuesday 29 September is three weeks from the 8 September noon PR. Enough time to photograph and steam. Not enough time to pretend it is a secret. B STONE sits in Minami-Aoyama. The shops sit where the customer already walks: Daikanyama for the look, Shinjuku for volume, Nagoya and the two Osaka-area rooms for the rest of the map.

Production notes are thin, which is normal for this kind of release. Denim weight is not listed. Mill is not listed. Made-in is not listed. What is listed is stitch, pocket, hue, price, door. Buy on those. If a care ticket later says Turkey or Japan or China, that ticket will matter more than Drive.

Ameri’s web store has been the main door since 2014. Direct shops are the proof the line is not only a URL. Putting Wrangler on both is how a first collab avoids being an online-only experiment. You can touch the blanket stitch in Daikanyama. You can order the pink pant at midnight.

Wrangler’s own Japan channel will amplify. The garment still ships from Ameri’s cart if the rel map holds. Two brands, one checkout, five rooms. That is the 29th.

Cowboy marks on a curved women’s pant. Blanket stitch on a jacket that used to be a man’s work shape. Blue, black, pink. ¥30,800 and ¥26,400 tax in. Drive in the copy. Denim on the hanger. Tuesday.
