First collide. Tees, ragtops, hoodies, kids. $40 to $120. Vegas 30 September. Wide 1 October with the Sphere opener.
adidas Originals and Metallica put a Trefoil on residency merch for Life Burns Faster, the band’s 24-date run at The Sphere in Las Vegas from 1 October 2026 through 13 March 2027. It is the first official apparel chapter between the two names. The clothes are graphic tees, raglan tees, long sleeves, a tank, pullover hoodies, and a crewneck, cut for men, women, and kids. Reported ticket on the line is $40 to $120. Colors on the campaign rack sit in white, black, and red, with the Metallica wordmark, the pushead-style mascot, and three-stripe shoulders.
The drop is two nights. 30 September: adidas Las Vegas and the Life Burns Faster Experience pop-up at the Venetian. 1 October: Sphere shop, metallica.com, adidas.com, and the CONFIRMED app, same morning the residency opens. A few pieces stay Sphere-only. adiClub and CONFIRMED are running ticket and signed-merch draws on five dates.
Around the clothes sit the rest of the Vegas week: a Black Box memorabilia room, a Wednesday-to-Sunday pop-up the first two weeks, SiriusXM ’Tallica Talk, a Drew Estate cigar tie-in, and a Red Cross drive at Fashion Show Mall with Delta in the lounge. Those are not the adidas SKUs. They are the week the SKUs land in.
Signal. What happened: adidas Originals and Metallica announced a first merch capsule for the Sphere residency. Exact product: Life Burns Faster tees, ragtops, tanks, hoodies, crew, $40–$120, some venue exclusives. When and where: 30 Sept Vegas doors, 1 Oct wide. Source: band and adidas rollout. Why it matters: Trefoil on Metallica graphics for a 24-show dome, not a one-night booth.

what
The stills are a crate and a rail. White ringer with a red Metallica mark and black collar. Black tee with a red lightning fist. Grey tee with a dripping mascot. White raglan with red sleeves and a small Trefoil. Black shirt on the floor that reads LIFE BURNS FASTER under the logo. That is the graphic set. Not a full track jacket. Not a Superstar. Apparel first.
Three stripes on a raglan sleeve is how adidas gets into a metal booth without inventing a new font. The wordmark stays Metallica’s. The Trefoil sits small at the neck or on the raglan. Kids sizing means the same print on a smaller blank. Women’s cuts are listed. Do not invent a SKU list. The shops will number them on the 30th and the 1st.
$40 is a tee. $120 is the top of the hoodie and crew range as reported. Treat those as the published band until adidas.com prints a grid. Sphere exclusives are the reason to stand in a Vegas line if you already own the wide tee. The rest of the world gets the wide set on metallica.com and adidas.com the night the lights go up.
This is not tour-bootleg adjacent. Official stores, CONFIRMED, adiClub. Bootleg Sphere tees already exist on souvenir sites. Those are not this capsule.
scope
Life Burns Faster is the name of the Sphere run, not a new album title on this merch brief. Twenty-four dates. Thursday and Saturday, No Repeat Weekend: two different setlists in one weekend under a 360-degree screen. Lars Ulrich has said the room idea followed seeing U2 open the building in 2023. The clothes have to live next to that room, not next to a club booth.
A residency merch line is different from a one-city festival drop. It has to last from October to March. Kids sizes and a $40 tee are how you stock a six-month gift shop. A $120 hoodie is how you stock a night that costs a plane ticket. The Trefoil is how adidas stays in the photo when the wordmark is already famous.
The Venetian pop-up and Black Box are the daytime version of the same week. Memorabilia, drinks, extra merch, 21 and over in the room as posted. Fashion Show Mall’s blood drive is a parallel object with its own Squindo shirt. Drew Estate is another parallel object. Do not fold those SKUs into the adidas grid.
Six extra 2027 dates were added earlier in the year on fan-club presale. The 24-show frame still runs to mid-March. The merch calendar does not wait for every added Saturday.
avail
30 September is local: adidas Las Vegas store and the Experience at the Venetian. If you are not in the city, that night is a photograph.
1 October is the real shelf: Sphere, metallica.com, adidas.com, CONFIRMED. Opening night and the URL at the same time. That is the overseas window the brief asked for. Japan and other markets follow whatever adidas.com ships. No separate Tokyo date was in the launch copy.
adiClub and CONFIRMED draws for five shows are the sports-brand half of a metal residency. Signed merch is the bait. Tickets are the prize. Read the app terms. They change.
A handful of pieces stay inside the Sphere. That is the only scarcity claim that belongs in print. Everything else is a first-day web cart.
The rail in the photo is already the product: stripes on a ringer, a dripping mascot on grey, LIFE BURNS FASTER on black. First collab. Two nights. Twenty-four shows behind a dome.

Metallica x adidas Originals. Life Burns Faster. 30 September in Vegas. 1 October everywhere the sites load.
