Palace Skateboards put Winter 2026 on a two-morning clock. Lev Tanju and Gareth Skewis opened the London shop in 2009. Sixteen winters later the company still sells skateboards and still uses a lookbook of crew, not a silent rack, to argue the season.
Week 1 is Friday, 2 October 2026, 11:00 BST for the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States. Saturday, 3 October, 11:00 local for Japan, China, Korea, and Australia. A RANGE list, the actual SKU sheet, was slated for Monday, 28 September. Prices, exact color codes, and which coat hits which region live on that sheet. The lookbook is the weather report. The RANGE is the receipt.
Winter 26 is built as cold kit first. Previews name a hooded B-15 in shearling leather, Palace’s cut of the military flyer. Oversized ripstop down puffers add bulk. Hooded patchwork parkas join GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER to Pertex. Realtree comes back on overpants and recon jackets so the hunting print can be worn as a full outline. 2000 AD licenses Judge Dredd onto jersey. House Palace graphics ride beside the helmet. Tracksuits and knitwear sit under the coats.

Palace does not run fashion week. It runs Fridays. The lookbook exists so the internet can argue drape before the cart opens. Crew wear the coats in a studio that still looks like a studio. One Japan recap counted 48 frames. That volume is the point. You see the same triangle on different shoulders until the coat stops looking like a render.
A Palace winter has to solve London rain, a warehouse, and a kid who will only buy a shirt. The expensive object is the coat. The liquid object is the jersey. The in-between object is the knit. If the lookbook leads on shearling and still shows a detergent parody jersey and a pink teddy knit in the same edit, that is the company admitting all three have to sell. Winter is not a boutique outerwear line that happened to keep a skate name. It is a skate name that learned to cut a B-15.
The B-15 is a known military flyer: rib, collar, volume through the body. Palace adding a hood and swapping clean nylon for shearling leather changes the cost and the care. Shearling marks. Shearling drinks weather. It also photographs as winter in a way ripstop cannot. Ripstop down is the opposite sentence: light fabric, fat loft, a triangle on the sleeve. Parkas that stitch WINDSTOPPER to Pertex are the rain sentence. Three coats, three jobs, one week-one photograph if the RANGE includes them all.
Realtree is American hunting camo that streetwear already digested. Printing it on overpants and recon jackets is how the pattern stops being a single novelty mid-layer. Pants plus jacket is an outfit. Palace has used Realtree before. “Return” in the previews means the archive is open again, not that the print is new to earth.
Knit and tracksuit are the under-layer and the Thursday object. A person who misses the shearling still leaves with a triangle on the chest. Palace has always needed that unit. Winter 26 does not retire it. It just refuses to let the tee be the only still.

Judge Dredd walked out of 2000 AD in 1977. Helmet, chin, Mega-City law. Palace putting that helmet on mesh is a London-to-London license: British comic, British shop. Previews describe helmet line, comic type, panel crops on long sleeves. In-house Palace prints sit in the same jersey drop so the capsule is not a sealed island. One still circulating with the season shows a yellow flame jersey with PALACE across the chest. Another shows a blue detergent-parody shirt with palacesurf.co.uk running as fake packaging type. Those are Palace jokes the company has told for years. Dredd is the licensed joke. Both can share a Saturday morning in Tokyo.
Jersey is week-one volume. Coats miss sizes and sit. A Dredd shirt or a soap shirt moves. That is why copy says the capsule “leads” even when the B-15 is the image people save. Leadership here means graphic gravity, not unit price.
No price list here. The RANGE was the document for that. Until Palace types yen and pounds next to codes, the honest catalog is families: shearling flyer, ripstop puff, technical parka, Realtree pant and recon, licensed jersey, house jersey, knit, tracksuit. Anything more specific is a leak pretending to be a lookbook.
Care is part of the product. Shearling is not a gym bag coat. Ripstop down packs and then looks tired if it lives on a radiator. WINDSTOPPER parkas exist because London does not honor a fashion week forecast. Realtree on overpants will look loud on a train and correct in a field. Palace has never asked those contexts to agree.

Palace splits the map on purpose. Friday 11:00 BST is London waking up and New York still in bed. Saturday 11:00 in Tokyo is the Japan brief, shared with Seoul, Shanghai doors, and Australia. The brand does not use a single global midnight. It uses a shop hour people already know. Refresh is the sport. Raffle language only counts if the product page says raffle.
Week 1 is not the winter. Palace drips. Later Fridays refill graphics and sometimes a second coat. First weekend is the argument: can the shearling and the Dredd shirt exist in the same cart without the season feeling like two brands. The lookbook says yes by dressing crew in both.
Stock behavior is ordinary. Middle sizes on jerseys leave first. Large and extra large on coats leave first. Realtree depends on whether the photo looks like a joke or like hunting. Shearling depends on whether the price on the RANGE looks like a coat or like a mistake. None of that needs a cop essay. The site will stutter. That is the release.
Palace Winter 2026 is a London skate company cutting a military flyer in hide, reprinting American camo on legs, and borrowing a 1977 British comic for mesh. Japan gets that mix at 11:00 on 3 October. The West gets it fourteen hours earlier. The RANGE, if it posted on the 28th as planned, is the only sheet that turns those sentences into SKUs.
Until then the stills are the evidence: a brown Pertex puff with a camo face hole, a pink knit bear, a flame jersey, a soap jersey. Coats and jokes in the same folder. That is the winter.
