Nike is lining up a Halloween Book 2 for Devin Booker. Style IO7942-001. Retail $155. Date 30 October 2026, Friday, SNKRS and select shops. White leather and mesh. Broken black stitch along the mudguard, around the toe, into the heel. Swoosh piped in black. Green Book letter on the tongue in a Halloween cut, glow talked about in early looks but not fully proven in every still. Heel tabs read Chapter Two. Tint calls on the boards: Sea Glass / Black-Multi-Hue.
The extra object is a paper mask of Booker’s face as a stitched monster, orange Nike headband on the brow. Some listings nickname the pair Oogie Boogie after the sack villain in The Nightmare Before Christmas. Booker has worn that film on Book 1 player editions. Official retail lang so far is Halloween. The mask is closer to a zombie Booker than a licensed burlap bag. Treat Oogie as a fan tag until Nike prints it on the tongue.
Book 1 Halloween in 2024 did the skeleton stitch on a darker last. Book 2 inverts that: white field, same broken stitch idea. Second October on the signature line.

The stitch is the costume. Not a printed pumpkin. Not a full graphic dump. Black thread running broken along the foxing and heel, the same trick Book 1 used to read as bone. On white it reads as suture. That is why Jack and Oogie both get projected onto it. Suture is suture. A film villain and a monster mask can share one technique.
Green Book on the tongue is the one Halloween typeface on the shoe. If those letters glow after the lights drop, that is the night photograph. If they stay ink, they are still the loudest word on the pair. Early galleries disagree on how much of the upper lights. Wait for the official SNKRS pack if glow is the only reason to care.
The mask is the box trick. Paper. Booker’s face, cheeks stitched, orange headband. Wear it on the 31st or leave it in the lid. Either way the unboxing is the campaign. Jordan’s Halloween 5 this year is glow without a face. Booker sent a face.
Chapter Two on the heel tab is the model reminder. Book 2 launched January 2026 after a long Book 1 cycle. Rising and Phoenix first, Suns mythology, $140 on the openers and $155 on later stories. Halloween sits at the higher ticket. The tab keeps people from calling it a Book 1 restock with new paint.
Leather and mesh on a white Halloween will show court dust faster than the 2024 black pair. That is the wear tax of the invert. The stitch will hide some of it. The toe will not.

Booker is still the Suns guard the shoe is named for. October basketball is early season, costume week, not a Finals tape. The mask will show up in more kitchens than gyms. The stitch will show up in both.
