Everything in the shade. Jazz Dreams due 23 October 2026 on Escho. Video by Betty Krag. A Copenhagen torch song that will not sit still on one root.

Fine Glindvad Jensen records as Fine. Copenhagen. Rhythmic Music Conservatory. She led the electro-pop group CHINAH. She has worked around Erika de Casier, Astrid Sonne, and Iceage’s Elias Rønnenfelt. Debut album Rocky Top Ballads, 2024. Second album Jazz Dreams, Escho, 23 October 2026. “Everything in the shade” is the new single after “I Could,” “Run,” “Portal,” and “Moment.” Betty Krag directed the clip.

The song is a piano ballad that keeps sliding its foundation. The root will not stay put. Her voice sits in that thin band where people start naming other women instead of listening: Hope Sandoval, Lana, Dido, a teacher you only remember in sleep. Those comparisons are a failure of attention. The vocal is hers. It is shh on purpose.

Jazz Dreams is thirteen tracks. “The Thing.” “If You Wanna Come Down.” “I Could.” “Goodbye Brian.” “Get In.” “Any Minute.” “Million Years.” “Sometimes I Rush.” “Run.” “Moment.” “Everything In The Shade.” “Portal.” “Much To Say.” The single sits at eleven, late enough that the record has already taught you her pace.

Copenhagen pop of this decade often runs clean and current. Fine looks older than the desktop wallpaper her peers grew up inside. Laurel Canyon as a rumor, not a costume. Carole King as a shape the chords almost take, then refuse. Andreas Murga’s guitar on this cut is the other weather. Butter, not sparkle. On Rocky Top Ballads the strange thing always happened just off camera. Same here. The song is easy to follow and still will not explain itself.

The line that holds is “to be the rain on the hill.” Not a hook in the radio sense. A wish that wants contact on every surface at once. The rest of the lyric stays close to that weather. Shade as cover. Shade as temperature. A love letter written outside, which is why the piano feels like it was left near a window.

Krag’s video is the first picture the single gets besides the stills. No stadium grammar. The song does not need one. Fine’s register works because it does not announce a genre change. Jazz Dreams is not a standards record. It is a title for songs that drift like they remember jazz without quoting it.

23 October is the date. Escho is the house. “Everything in the shade” is the track you put on when the room is already quiet and you want it quieter, not empty. The chord keeps moving. The voice stays.
