W Dunk Low, IQ0386-226. Light Violet Ore. 11 February 2026. One hundred thirty dollars. Message under the tongue. Chain on the heel.

Nike listed the women’s Dunk Low as Now Accepting All Flowers. Style code IQ0386-226. Color string: Light Violet Ore / Sail / Metallic Gold / Healing Jade / University Gold / Rust Factor. Retail 130 dollars. Date on the U.S. and European calendars: 11 February 2026, a Wednesday sit just before Valentine’s week. Japan’s street calendars carried the same date as 2/11 with the domestic door still marked unclear on some boards.

Peter Moore’s 1985 college basketball last does not need a holiday to exist. Nike still uses holidays to give the last a sentence. This sentence is printed where most people will not see it first: the underside of the tongue label. Now Accepting All Flowers. Outer tongue and insole carry the bouquet in yellow, pink, grey embroidery and print. A metallic gold chain runs from top eyelet to heel tab with Swoosh, Nike wordmark, and a purple flower charm. The rest of the shoe stays in one violet family so the chain and the stitches have somewhere to sit.

Women’s sizing only on the first card. Textile upper that Nike’s own copy says will soften. Foam midsole. Rubber outsole with the old pivot circles. Padded collar. That is the Dunk chassis. The flower pack is the 2026 layer.

Light Violet Ore is the field. Hairy suede on toe overlay, laces, heel. Thicker knit on toebox and side panels. Swoosh and heel tab a step darker so the logo does not vanish into the knit. Sail shows at the midsole. Gold is hardware and stitch spark, not a full panel. Heal Jade and Rust Factor live in the floral hits and small goods. The shoe reads monochrome from across a room and multi-material in the hand.

That contrast is the design. Not a five-tincture block Dunk from the early 2000s. A single temperature of purple cut two ways. Knit takes the large planes. Suede takes the edges that scuff. If the knit pills, the pair will look older than the date. If it holds, the pair looks like cloth that was always meant to sit next to hide.

An Air Force 1 in the same slogan family was talked up alongside the Dunk, pink and black leather in some notes. Separate last. Same week of the calendar. The Dunk is the one with IQ0386-226 on the box.

Valentine Dunks usually shout. This one files the shout under the tongue and lets the embroidery do the window work. Now Accepting All Flowers is inclusive copy in the same week the calendar sells roses. If either that read as campaign or as a small joke depends on who lifts the tongue. The stitch flowers do not wait for the lift. They sit on the label you see when the shoe is tied.

Chain charms are the other 2026 habit: extra metal so the pair photographs as more than leather. Swoosh, wordmark, flower. Removable in the product language some retailers used. The Dunk did not need a necklace. It has one anyway.

11 February put the pair next to Nike.com and selected shops. Japan listings flagged the hue and the code while leave the local counter as “unknown” on at least one aggregator. That split is normal for W Dunks that open on the U.S. grid first. Secondary boards later show the code in stock at sale price, which is how a February colorway looks in September: still a SKU, no longer a secret.

Moore’s outline stays the whole argument. Low collar, Swoosh bag, pivot sole. Nike changed the cloth and added a sentence. The sentence is the name. The violet is the field. The date is already behind the calendar. The pair is the leftover: a women’s Dunk that accepted the flowers and kept the last.
