The last is the 1990s MARINE STAR deck shoe, rebuilt as a premium J model. Construction is Goodyear welt, the method Regal uses on dress leather. Lining is cowhide. Insole is elastomer. Mid packing is Ortholite. Outsole is Vibram Newflex. Dual-logo carton.

This is the third Converse x Regal Shoe & Co. chapter after ALL STAR COUPE J PRM OX (2023) and ONE STAR J LOAFER PRM (2025). Regal’s line for the pair is a leather standard aimed at people who grew up in shoe.

Marine Star in the 1990s was a deck sil with a star as the only loud mark. J PRM keeps that star on the counter in white against black suede. No extra panel print. The shoe is supposed to read as a boat last that went through a factory that also makes oxfords.

Domestic suede is the face. It will mark. That is the material. Cow lining is there so the inside behaves like a leather shoe after a month, not like a canvas All Star. Elastomer under the foot is the first cushion. Ortholite is the second. Together they are how Converse argues a welted shoe can still walk a city block.

Black is the only hue. Size run stops at 27.5. If you are outside that, the chapter is not for you. The carton carries both marks so the box is part of the object.
