CELL is the 1990s hex cushion Puma built so the midsole could be seen as structure, not as a hidden pad. Running first, then basketball and training. GEO 1 arrived in January 2026 as the lifestyle rebuild: a split, ridged CELL unit at the heel for cushion and carved volume, flowing cut lines on the upper, a lace path that is partly covered. First GEO 1s stacked leather, suede, and ballistic mesh. J.L-A.L later put patent on the same last so wear would show a second tincture.

Reptilian is a different surface on that last. Natural leather and synthetic fiber take a print that reads as scale. Dark green is the field. Black pulls the parts tight. The irregular animal mark sits against the regular ridges in the heel. That contrast is the colorway.

That is why a reptile print can land here without looking like a costume. The heel is already an animal of its own: regular, hard, split. The upper print is irregular.
