Jessie Murph, the 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Alabama, has unveiled her latest single, “Gucci Mane,” on April 4, 2025. This introspective track delves into her personal journey, touching on themes of familial relationships, rapid success, and self-discovery.

In “Gucci Mane,” Murph candidly reflects on her upbringing and personal challenges. She opens the song with lines that highlight her roots and familial struggles:

“I’m from Alabama, I’m ‘bout 4’11”

I’ve got a sh*tty father and I’d like to go to Heaven”

The song also explores her feelings about newfound fame and material wealth:

“I look around my house

And I look at all the stuff

I get to feeling guilty

And I think about my mom

I’m the first one in my family to see a million bucks”

A notable aspect of the track is its interpolation of Gucci Mane’s 2009 hit “Lemonade.” Murph integrates elements of the original song, aiming to pay homage to the rapper:

“I sampled ‘Lemonade’ to make Gucci Mane proud”

This creative choice blends her country-pop style with hip-hop influences, showcasing her genre-blending capabilities.

The release of “Gucci Mane” is accompanied by a visualizer that complements the song’s themes. In the video, Murph is depicted surrounded by cash, symbolizing her contemplation of wealth and success.

Fans can stream “Gucci Mane” on major platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.  Additionally, the official visualizer is available on YouTube.

As Jessie Murph continues to evolve as an artist, “Gucci Mane” offers listeners a glimpse into her personal narrative and musical versatility, blending introspective lyrics with innovative soundscapes.
