Nike Hybrid RN Lands In China On The 24th Sept

Nike dates Hybrid RN for China retail on 24 September 2026, then Nike.com and select train shops on 8 October. Ticket in the launch copy: $150. Training-first last. Wider, more planted heel. Midsole tuned for repeat sessions, not a single race clock.

This is the pair that actually goes on sale this month. Launch stills tied two codes to the white / black / laser crimson / metallic silver family: IV5066-101 and IO3815-102. Treat those as provisional until the China PDP prints them.

RN is the daily hybrid trainer. Nike’s brief is blunt. Strength-first athletes need a base that does not fold when the sled comes out and does not die when the eighth kilometer starts. RN is that base. More structure through the heel. A wider platform than a road racer. Foam that is suppose to feel like work shoes you can still run in.

The week is the product. Tuesday gym. Thursday intervals. Saturday mock race. One last. That is why RN ships before anything else in the Hybrid line. Volume pair. The pair that has to survive rubber flooring, turf, and pavement in the same month.

$150 sits above a standard Pegasus and below a carbon racer. That slot is the argument. You do not need a second shoe for class if this one holds the station and the run. If it does not hold the station, it is just another trainer with a new name.

China on the 24th is the first public try-on. Hybrid racing packed halls there all year. A trainer that lands two weeks after Beijing’s Ice Ribbon meet is a calendar choice. The global 8 October date is the rest of the map catching up.

Wide heel is the sentence Nike keeps using. Sled work punishes a narrow racing last. Lunges punish a shoe that rolls. RN is drawn to stay under you when the movement is not straight ahead. Midsole foam is described as responsive comfort, not race pop. That means less plate snap, more repeatable landings.

Outsole has to grip gym rubber and still last on a 1 km indoor loop. Dual-compound talk in the family copy is the durability claim. Confirm lug and rubber map on the PDP. Upper is a training knit with lockdown panels, not a marathon vapor shell. Heel tab and collar are built for hours, not 26 miles.

Fit: start with your Pegasus length if that is what you train in. Do not assume a Vaporfly length. Width is the point of RN. If your current trainer already feels like a canoe, this last may feel normal. If you live in a skinny racer, RN will feel like a different category. That is intended.

Tincture one is the white-black-crimson-silver pack in the stills. Other dyes will follow if the first run sells. For 24 September, that pack is the one to match against the style code on the box.
