Out My Face (My Baby) rel 28 August 2026. Two halves, one shove in the hook. Cardo Got Wings on the boards. Video cut down the middle.

Ice Spice and Lil Yachty split a single the way some people split a double A-side. Out My Face (My Baby) arrived 28 August 2026 through 10K Projects and Capitol. Producers: Cardo Got Wings, Da Kids. The first half is hers. Relentless pocket, minor keys, a Bronx clip that does not ask for space because the hook is already evicting the room. Get out my face. Then the file changes clothes. Yachty takes the slower, bent second act and turns the title into “my baby.”

Y2K! was 2024. Last year she had “Big Guy” for the SpongeBob picture and “Thootie” with Tokischa. This is the 2026 single that puts a full verse back in front of a camera that is not a meme loop. Yachty’s last solo album still sits in 2023. Bad Cameo with James Blake in 2024. “On Your Mind” with FKA twigs earlier this summer. The pair is two calendars that needed a Friday.

Genius lists the song on Rosadita. Treat that as a lane, not a street date, until the album is dated.

Ice Spice has always been good at a short command. The drill cadence does the rest. Here the command is the title people will type: get out my face. She stacks the line until it is percussion. Wealth, height, other people’s talk, a building that used to be a project. The details are the usual flex list. The hook is the architecture.

She does not sound panicked on a dark beat. That is the trick. Cardo’s first half feels like weather. She treats it like a hallway. Everybody knows, she says, and then she repeats the eviction until the words fray. Matter of fact, give me space. The file is still hers when Yachty’s “what?” ice-breaks the interlude.

The clip is directed by AMD and Little Miles, Yachty’s directing name. It copies the song’s break. First act: Ice in tableaus that refuse ordinary continuity. Face-in-hole boardwalk cutout. Masks of her own face. A pregnancy beat that is costume, not announcement. Then the diner. Karrahboo. Concrete Boys. Gio. Che Mario. Yachty in a Loc Dog sil, booths that look lit for a skit. The second beat is slower and stranger. Cha-cha pills, casa traffic, a request that devotion look like ink on a face.

Two videos glued at the switch is a flex and a risk. The flex is that neither half has to share a set. The risk is that the hook people came for lives only in part one. Yachty’s half is a different temperature. “My baby” is affection as instruction. Get out my face was a lock on the door. The second door opens anyway.\

Lyrical Lemonade put an eight-minute making-of on the same day. You can watch the hook get yelled at a lens until it is muscle memory. That is the record’s method. Repeat the shove until it is a song.

28 August. Two producers. Two directors. Two rooms. One title that works as a chorus and as a caption. The album name on the credits is still a horizon. The single is already the hallway.
